The 1st Official MCA National Specialty is in the books!

The 1st Official AKC Mudi National Specialty was held at the Alltech Arena, Kentucky Horse Park, in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 29-September 1, 2024.

This event was a long time in the making, starting with just a handful of Mudi enthusiasts getting together to form a club and host an annual gathering, to being accepted into Foundation Stock Service (FSS) in 2004, then moving into Miscellaneous Class, and finally, becoming recognized by AKC in the Herding Group in 2022. Without the hard work and dedication of those who first fell in love with the Mudi and started importing to the United States in the early 2000s, this would not have been possible. Their efforts are greatly appreciated!
