Mudi Rescue
The MCA will assist any shelter or rescue organization in the USA that has a Mudi needing a home by listing them on this website.
Thank-you to everyone who helps with rescue.
The Mudis listed on this page are not the responsibility of the Mudi Club of America. This page is a referral service for Mudis needing to be rehomed. To add Mudis to this page, email mudiclubofamerica@gmail.com. Listings will be added case-by-case, and this page is not to be used as a way to sell puppies. The dogs listed on this page may or may not have AKC registration eligibility, adopters must do their due diligence when deciding to adopt a rehomed Mudi.
UPDATE: Monty has a home!!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Wishing Monty and his new family all the best!
Monty, male Mudi - located in central North Carolina
1 year old
Neutered and vaccinated
Monty is a young male Mudi from an accidental breeding situation. He and his siblings found themselves in a pickle and nearly surrendered to a shelter, but local volunteers stepped in to keep them all safe. Monty is a sweet guy who is working on his socialization and basic training while in foster. He loves toys and playing frisbee, and it’s possible other sports could be in his future.
Monty has done very well with his foster moms and is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and rides great in the car. He would do well with an active single owner or a couple, but should not go to a busy home with small children or many frequent visitors. He would also thrive in a rural/farm situation (he has not been tested on livestock). Monty gets along with other friendly dogs, but we feel his best home would be with a laid back neutered male or a friendly female dog.
Please email heather@thanagarcanine.com for more information about Monty. There will be a small rehoming fee, and we will not ship or transport Monty to his new home.
