If a Mudi coming from an acceptable foreign registry https://www.akc.org/rules/special-registry-services/  has a pedigree with 3 or more generations, you may register them online using this link: https://www.akc.org/register/dog/foreign/

If a Mudi coming from an acceptable foreign registry https://www.akc.org/rules/special-registry-services/  has less than a 3 generation pedigree the dog may come into the Foundation Stock Service program. For any issues registering a dog with less than a 3 generation pedigree, contact AKC at fss@akc.org. The dog may compete in Companion and Performance Events.  They are NOT eligible for Conformation events.  They can be bred, and depending on pedigree generations the puppies would be AKC or FSS. 

All foreign-born Mudis are required to have AKC DNA https://shop.akc.org/products/akc-dna?variant=30519215236 in order to have their offspring registered with AKC. This is not the same as Embark, Wisdom Panel, etc.
